April Fool’s Day!

Today is a day for all the fools out there. Happy April Fool’s Day to all ya! First of all, I like to thank all the sms that I had received. Thank You!
Well, this morning before I was even wide awake, my mum come by my bed and gave me an angbao. I haven’t open it so I do not know how much lah. But is her xin yi so doest not matter. Next, I had a potluck with my cell group today. Well, was expecting shunli but she put aeroplane. Haha! A few new guests and I was being made to entertain them. Haha.. kena forfeit while playing games. I strongly feel that it was part of uncle chee aik’s plot to bring the games. Ask me to sing & dance. Somemore, I must walk catwalk with my present. Haha! Then, he videoed down all my jokes today. Nevertheless, it was fun. I had enjoyed myself. Also, I feel so cozy sitting around the table and chat at the same time. I thank God for this wonderful spiritual family. Also, I really appreciated each and everyone of them.

Next, I met up with shunli & joy at ktv. Well, Baobei (Amel) & me was half an hour late because we sat into a “pirate car”. Haha, wonder can that word be used it this way. Nvm lah! We were going round tampines & tanah merah. Then finally, sue drove us to where the destination. Thank God that, shunli & joy were patient enough to wait for us while entertaining themselves. After ktv session, we went for buffet and met up with Ms Sim. Waited for awhile & was inform that Joe cannot join us. Sad, cause cannot see her Alan. Not because she cannot join us lah but cannot see Alan leh.. lolz! She will kill me when she see this. We enjoyed the food so much and everyone walked out with satisfaction because everyone is bloated. Hehe! We then decided to go to east coast park for a stroll. So romantic right? Yup, we are a group of ladies who are sentimental. Haha! We sat there for 1 hour & being fed by many mosquitoes. And, we shared quite a lot on corporate politics & our experiences. A great time spent! Really enjoy their presence & feel that I can say practically anything in front of these girls. I can laugh all I want, I can speak loud & be myself. And, I am happy to be myself. Thank you girls for making my night so joyful & beautiful. I really cherish all of you. Even the missing 3s – Joelly, Saumun & LayKuan. Thank You!

A Sweet Surprise!

Well, I had received a sweet surprise from my colleagues today. For all of you who know me well, Tomorrow is my great day. A day whereby I am beautifully created by God. Ahem, Yes, I repeat, “beautifully”! =P After lunch, I was busying doing some data entry thingy because my senior mgr had assigned me to be in-charge of an educational programme. And, I need to do all the registration & acknowledgment stuff. As I was in the midst of doing the entries, suddenly there was a blackout. It was not a surprise to me because it was not the first time. In my first week of work, I had experience a mini blackout (Mini blackout cause it was only part of the office being affected). Though, this time round the whole office was darkened, but I did not sense anything fishy. One of my senior asked, Qiao Xiang ah, so dark you still can do your work? As usual, I act dao. I kept quiet. Suddenly, everyone gathered around me and sung me a Birthday song. I was touched & nearly flood the whole place. But, I did not disgrace myself. I held back my tears and began to thank all of them. Indeed, they are a group of nice people who I really thank God for. After which, I was told by stella that she had actually brought me a cake but she felt that it was too small for 14 ppl. Then, she told my in-charge about it. My in-charge went to buy a bigger cake for me. In the end, I brought the smaller cake home with me. You know, I am really touched by what my NEW colleagues had done for me. Although, it was just a very simple kind of celebration, but who am I to them? I am only a temporary staff who is going to leave in 1 month time. Furthermore, I work there for only 1 month. Indeed, I am surprised & thankful to them.
