I got good news! My friend told me that her company needs temp staff!! Well, though I cannot confirm that I can get the job but at least God heard my cry!! LOL! Got news better than nothing, right? Seriously, I really hope I can find myself a job. (To keep myself occupy)
Today’s sermon was preached by our senior pastor. A new topic on stress management – rest from stress. Is anybody out there feeling stressful lately? Do come & find out more from me, okay? Pastor is going to give a series on stress management. I told myself to be more attentive for services as I know it will be beneficial to me at the end of the day. I do dare to say that I am a very strong person but I learn to tap on His strength everyday of my life. Pastor also said that as long as you are alive, you will definitely be faced with stressful situations. So, do you want to live in a stress-free environment? Is impossible, ya. Instead of running away, why not face it with courage.
After service & dinner, we headed to national stadium for the annual Global Day of Prayer. The whole congregation was made up by about 24000 people. Though not a lot of people (with such a big area, is about half filled), the whole atmosphere was good. We were blessed with good weather. The part whereby 2 pastors were asking forgiveness from one another had affected me the most. It taught me to be modest even if I am holding a respectable position.
Finally, I took uncle chee aik’s car home with, my gang of 珠惠緗(猪会香)and Alvin. As we were on our way home, uncle chee aik asked if we would like to have a supper first. Haha… of course, we agreed without Alvin’s consent (he was super busy on his phone). We headed to somewhere near hotel 81 (Changi) for mee sua (面线). Woo Hoo~ it was so shiok can. The soup is super nice & I will like to go there again & again. Haha! Uncle chee aik, if you are reading this… know that I am hinting you ya. Haha! Oh ya, 你的人真好! Yeah yeah! Thank God for you! (affirmation ya!)
I am learning to live Your ways day by day...
