Funny how, I was awake by my mum this morning. Somehow, I could just feel that somebody was staring at me while I was sleeping. Indeed, I opened my eyes & saw my mum's lovely face. Her wrinkled face smiling at me. My mum always has this bad habit of staring at me when I was sleeping like a pig. But this morning, it was different. She gave me a peck on my forehead. Well, usually just a hug but I got a kiss this morning! *shy* Perhaps many may feel that is kind of weird to be kissed by my mum at such age but I dare to announce it out loud that, yes I am kissed by my mum! Haha... Well, I remembered my Professor (the one who shared the leaky bucket story with us) told us that we should not be shy to show our emotions. She told us that anytime we feel like giving somebody a big hug, just do so. Of course not with other intention or ulterior motives. And, anytime you feel like crying, just cry out loud. How true? Many times, people just hide their emotions. They feel that it is weak to express emotions openly but I feel that expressing emotions is to be true to yourself. It shows that you are not ashamed of your emotions & dared to express it. Perhaps being an Asian, it had become a norm to hold back one's emotions. Well, it is time to change then.
