Dear God,
Thank you for this brand new year once again, year 2011. I always thank You for this life of mine. The opportunity to wake up seeing the sun smiling back at me. It just warms my heart and be thankful for every breath I made. It might just be a simple thing but it is exactly such simple thing that most have taken granted for. I may be going through the motion everyday, meeting different people, seeing different things, but please keep me minded of such simplicity in life. It is something precious to me that I do not wish to overlook it.
Someone asked, “So what have you achieve in the year of 2010?” Without much thought, I replied, “Completed my university studies and able to find a decent job.”
Now, I began to ask myself, what have I really achieved in the year of 2010? I do not think that I have achieved much in 2010 but overall it was good. Of course, I believe year 2011 will be even better. I hope 2011 will be a fruitful year for me and as I entered into the next phase of my life, I can still maintain that simplicity in my heart, soul and mind.
